THE TRAVEL EDIT : THAILAND

Hi,
This was my first time travelling abroad and I was so excited for this trip. Travelling with Thai airways made it even better. From comfortable seats to delicious food and super helpful crew, it was all I could ask for.

My first destination was Phuket. A wonderful place with scenic views, beaches and hills. We reached in the afternoon and were tired, so our first day passed by pretty quickly. We were living in this place called Casa Del M. It was a beautiful property and my room had access to the pool,  which was the best part. We relaxed in the hotel for a while, then went go karting and to Patong road to shop and eat. We ate lip smacking Indian food at a restaurant called Madras cafe. All the outfits that I wore on this trip were pretty casual and chilled out. For day 1, I paired a white striped T shirt with a red button down skirt and a pair of my trustworthy black sneakers.

Day 2 was filled with amazing activities. After having delicious breakfast at the hotel, we left to see the famous dolphin show. It was fabulous. The the enthusiasm that the trainers and the creature itself had, was amazing.

Post dolphin show, we went to Patong Beach to chill and relax. Then, we had lunch at an Indian restaurant again and left for our hotel.
For Day 2, I wore a cami top with a pair of shorts and flip flops.
In the evening, we went to Juncleyon Mall to shop.

On the 3rd and the final day in Phuket, we went to Phi Phi Island on a boat. The island was beautiful and left me stunned. The vibe of the place was just so relaxing. We had lunch at a Japanese restaurant, went to the beach to chill and returned back to the city in the evening. We decided to go to the Fantasea Show that night itself and it was magical. The show and the visuals were terrific.

For my outfit, I quickly changed into a floral mini dress to keep it casual and comfortable.

Boarding a flight at midnight, we reached Bangkok the next day. We stayed at Ibis Bangkok. Unfortunately, on our first day in Bangkok, most tourist attractions were shut down as on that day, as it was the Queen’s Birthday. So, we decided to hide our time at Siam Center, which was just at a walking distance from our hotel. For day 4, I wore a T-shirt with a pair of shorts and sneakers, considering we were just going to shop. Post shopping, we went to Baiyoke Sky Hotel to have a rooftop dinner. It is the tallest hotel in Bangkok. The view from the top was so satisfying.

On our second day in Bangkok, we had breakfast super early and were headed to Siam Park City, which is an amusement and water park. It was a fun day, we enjoyed a lot. The rides were super cool yet scary. I wore a dress that day.

After we returned back from the amusement park, we went to have dinner at an Indian restaurant and the food wasn’t that great, to be honest. Then, we shopped a bit from Indra Market, which is a night flea market. This market had everything from souvenirs to clothes and even suitcases.

On our last day in Thailand, we went to Safari World. There were a lot of creatures, ones that I had never seen or heard of before. But the place was really good for people who take interest in wildlife. My outfit for the day was a black off shoulder top with a pair of shorts and sneakers. And by the end of the day, I was really exhausted and couldn’t function. So, I slept as soon as we went to the hotel because we had a flight to catch at 4 am. And with this, the trip came to an end. Overall, the destination, the hotel, the flights, the experience, everything was perfect and contributed towards making this trip a memorable one.

Hugs and Kisses,
Himanshi (Sia).
